Create a document online, for free
A full word processor that opens in a second in your browser. Write in the same paragraph as your colleagues, drop in tables and images, then walk away with a DOCX that Word opens without complaint.
- No sign-up
- Simultaneous editing
- DOCX, RTF and PDF export
Create a document in four steps
-
1
Open the editor
One click on “Create a document” and the blank page is there. Nothing to install, no email to confirm.
-
2
Write and format
Headings, lists, tables, drag-and-dropped images, links, footnotes — the menu bar uses the landmarks you already know.
-
3
Invite your readers
A share link is enough. Their cursors show up live, their comments land in the margin.
-
4
Export or keep it online
Download as DOCX, RTF or PDF, or leave the document in your drive and pick it up from any machine.
What the editor does
-
Simultaneous writing
Several people type in the same paragraph without stepping on each other: edits merge character by character.
-
Tables and images
Insert a table, resize its columns, drop an image from your desktop — it uploads and places itself.
-
Complete formatting
Heading styles, alignment, line spacing, multi-level lists, colours, page breaks — the full kit you expect from a word processor.
-
Comments and history
Any passage can be commented on and resolved, and version history lets you step back without having duplicated the file.
-
Built-in assistant
A panel on the right rewrites a paragraph, drafts an outline or fills a table. It edits the document rather than merely answering you.
-
Faithful exports
The DOCX keeps styles, tables and images. The PDF is written directly, not printed through the browser.
What people write here
-
Meeting notes
One person types, the others fix as they read: the notes are done when the meeting is.
-
Reports and dissertations
Numbered headings, footnotes, data tables, and a PDF for submission.
-
Letters
Clean layout and a DOCX to attach, with no licence to buy.
-
Team documentation
A shared link replaces the attachment that circulates in eight versions.
-
Job applications
Write the letter, export the PDF, send. Three minutes.
-
Lecture notes
Open it without an account from a library computer, export before you leave.
The rest of the suite
All five tools share the same drive, the same sharing and the same assistant.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. The editor opens and saves your work on your device. An account only becomes useful to find your files elsewhere and to share them; if you create one later, documents started without an account are carried over.
Is it really free?
Yes, with no document quota and no trial period. There is no paid tier to unlock.
Can I open the file in Word?
Yes. The DOCX export produces a standard Office file that Word, LibreOffice and Pages all read. RTF is available for older cases.
How many people can write at once?
As many as a working document needs. Every keystroke reaches the others within tens of milliseconds.
What happens to my documents?
They stay on your device until you have an account, and in your private space afterwards. Nothing becomes public unless you create a share link.
Can I work offline?
Editing continues if the connection drops: changes are kept locally and re-sync as soon as the network returns.
The blank page is waiting
No form, no card details, no download. One click and you are writing.
